Buick Park Avenue Climate Control
I have a 1996 Buick Park Avenue. When I turn on the heater, the doors on the floor, dash, or windshield do not open so that we can get any heat. Is there a way that I can reprogram? I had to disconnect my battery and since then it has not been functioning properly.
Thanks. Bill |

Re: Buick Park Avenue Climate Control
The vents use engine vacuum to open and close. The engine vacuum line for the AC/Heater connects to a spot on the engine firewall, left and below of the master cylinder. Usually this line rots off.

Re: Buick Park Avenue Climate Control
also the ECC will wait for the coolant temp to get up there. it thinks that why should i blow cold air. also if you grt in the car when you need to defrost just hit the defrost button and it will start to blow at high speed to the windshield
