The Si model has Vtec but its different from the VTEC model.

Its only got the 127hp SOHC engine instead of the 160hp DOHC engine.

Pricewise I dont know because im not in america

is it possible to convert the SOHC to DOHC and if so does it cost a fortune, i dont want a rice rocket i just want something with a little speed in it. only engine mods i plan on are intake and a header cause i dont like the farty exhaust systems i have heard on most hondas. if you know of one that doesnt sound like a afterproduct of a bean eating contest id like to know.

You can convert to DOHC but not easily, youve got to change the whole engine.

so basically its just better to go some upgrades to the engine or completely buy a new one. sounds about right. are their any brands of CAI and Headers that are a cut above the rest. i just want some modest notable performance gains at a reasonable price.
