BTW, you should have seen this thread back before I edited WakkaWu's posts...instead of quoting he would just copy their stuff and start typing in the middle of it, it was darn near impossible to read.

He's banned now anyhow.

BTW, welcome to AF!

I'm with the Welcome to AF! camp as well

I scored that ban as well anyway...........You haven't read some of his other posts- he literally posted straight in the middle of his snippet of me saying something....

As for the Caddilac- I think you'd be correct on the fuel management not working properly- I have heard of about 5 or 6 cases where Sevilles and Devilles have caught fire after 50mph+ impacts........ And yeah try to ignoret he retards and enjoy your stay at AF

Re: Why does everyone say that Cadillac builds there cars poorly?

BOY....I HATE TO EVEN GET INTO THE MIDDLE OF THIS ONE BUT....Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe all newer vehicles have a "fuel Pump Cut-Off" to prevent the fuel pump from running and creating a fire after a crash. ANYONE HAVE THE CORRECT ANSWER???

Re: Why does everyone say that Cadillac builds there cars poorly?

Personally, i love American cars. Truth is, the Cadillac is built like a Chrysler's transmission, gauranteed to fall apart at 60,000 miles. My cousin had his Eldorado since '84' and had ridiculous problems since. He's a dumby i must say. He loves his car. And about the Lexus' integrity, what about the Buick's. I was rear ended by one about a year and a half ago. It was a Buick LeSabre and the LeSabre's front end was GONE!!! I mean GONE. My car was pretty banged up also, but isnt the car being hit supposed to have the most damage? His car TOTALED. My car still running strong. What's up! American cars or any car arent what they used to be. My Triumph TR6 is still running strong w/o any problems. Its all about how that paticular car is made from the factory.

Re: Re: Why does everyone say that Cadillac builds there cars poorly?

Your absolutely right. Most cars nowadays have the fuel shut off safety feature. I know my Lexus does and it's a '93' ES300. When the Buick hit me, my car still didnt cut off though. The other guys Lex might have not of had alot of gas in the tank. Maybe thats why his car shut off.

Re: Why does everyone say that Cadillac builds there cars poorly?

Cadillac builds there cars great! The interior is built awsome, it dosent fall apart, or rattle. Tryin to compare a Cadillac to a Lexus is like comparing Steak to a hamburger... Cadillacs are allways better. A lexus is just a fancy Toyota, nothing more. The Catera, well, thats made in Germany... I have a VW, I know German cars are great, but I dont like the Catera...

You are right. But don't resurrect 3 year old threads.
