1/12 parts

I'm building a 1/12 Camaro with opening doors, trunk and hood.I'm looking for some 1/12 treaded race tires for the car.The kit tires won't do.I can't find any anywhere.Does anyone here know of a source or have some? Thanks for your help.

Re: 1/12 parts

I can't remember off the top of my head who it is, but someone here took the wheels from a 1/18 scale Muscle Machine and used them on the same 1/12 scale kit you are working on. Do a search here you'll find it.

Yea. As big as the rims are on diecasts you could possibly find some. Or, scratchbuild some.

I made my own rims out of aluminum for mine and cut and spliced the kit rear tires to make wider ones, you'll need four tires to get two... Sorry it's so dusty, this project is on hold for now... The tread will be cut into them later... - Mark
