No other McLaren is so historic that it deserves a plastic kit, particularly not Gordon Murray's self-serving gluttonous wedge. That car was a Murray, not a McLaren.

McLarens are bright orange (New Zealand's national racing color). They're brute simple but brilliantly effective. They win through clever engineering and effective powerplants, not devil-may-care spending.

Support REAL MCLARENS!
Yeah but do I care about Bruce Mclaren? Do I care if the F1 is a REAL Mclaren? Not really, no.

I, like many others, simply want a model kit version of probably the best supercar ever made. Now I have resigned myself to the fact that it will probably never be released (due to licensing issues), but I hope that maybe if the model car companies (are you listening Tamiya!) realise just HOW in demand this model is that some sort of arrangement could be found.
Now I know that it might not be everyones favourite car but I'm sure the majority of this board would still buy it.

Oh well back to the Profil 24 lump of resin.

Cheers

I'll sign the petition for a 1/24th McLaren F1!
The M8D would be nice but we've already got the AM M8B, much rather build a car Bruce won in than died in. On the subject of CANAM McLarens, a kit of the final M20 would round things out.

My vote:

Any of the "less desirable" and four seat classic/vintage Ferraris, 330GTC, 365GTC, 308GT2+2, 250GTE.....
