97 Mazda 626 LX 4cylinder

I am having trouble with my 97 Mazda 626 LX 4 cylinder. The speedometer and rpm guage isn't working along with the gears not working right. It will shift real hard into 2nd gear and fine in 3rd but won't shift into overdrive at all. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my car and what I need to do to fix it?
