Man. I wish I would have got to you first. I'd trade my 89 CRX Si for a 94 s10 in a heartbeat. I need something bigger for carrying stuff. The CRX is a blast to drive, but if I'm only going to be able to carry one passenger, I want a lot of hauling space for bikes, desks, boxes and such.

I had a GMC S15 and absolutely loved it so much until the headgasket blew and it cracked the head.

Best of luck with your CRX though, its a great car and a lot of fun to drive. I'd just rather have a truck.

Let the guy you traded it to know that if he wants another 89 Si, to let me know.

Nate

whats up. I am working on an 89 civic right now. Trying to swap a B18 LS engine. I also have a 240sx two of them acually. My plans are to get the LS engine in then do a Vtec head and maybe a turbo later on. I have had 3 nissans so far and this is my first honda.

Since its an older Civic/CRX you're best off to use a 1st gen B16, and since they're older like the car they come with the proper tranny and ECU for ease of use.

I personally think they're a better choice because they can be had for about $2000 less than a B18C and come with everything you need, and loads of potential.

Buy the B16, pick up a GSR block for $700 or so, and use the difference for some ITR cams and an AEBS IM.
And the change to take your chick out.
