Sometimes when I'm driving my 96' I30 it gets hot near my feet while driving. It's off an on but when it's hot it's REAL HOT. The temperature gauge always stays normal. I have 225,000 miles on her. What can I do to stop this heat?

Re: Heating near my feet during driving
Quote:
Block the vent with cloth or repair system. Might be the valve vacuum actuator hoses. As they age, ends brittle at intake end. Take off and verify; cut half inch off. Reinsert. The valve is at the firewall, under hood.

Re: Heating near my feet during driving
Have you tried turning off the heater?
