hydraulic line disconnect
I have a '93 3.0 and a recently locked-up 5 speed manual. In removing the old transmission, we ran into trouble trying to pull the spectacularly mis-named "quick disconnect" hydraulic line from the slave cylinder. We wound up cutting the hydraulic line while removing the disconnect. Does the line have to be replaced, or can the fitting be re-inserted into the line? If the line has to be replaced, how much does a new one cost, and how much of a pain is it to do? Any help is greatly appreciated. - AL
