Re: Adding to the FD conversation a while ago with a VID!!!
yea stock height on a 240 is rediculous. Its like a damn rally car....
and yea the "no" power steering will make you feel more solid. But i have coils and no power steering on one car and power steering and stock setup on the other. So i really cant tell the difference just between the power steering and suspension. All i know is, going from one to the other is like WHOA. The one with power steering im all over the road cuz its so touchy. |

ok...
Do you guys agree...that a Rotor has three side.... that is Three possible firing surfaces...there are two fires per Cycle on one ROTOR...which means its equivalent to 4 rotors with only 1 fire per rotor... which would be 654cc rotors x 4 = 2616cc now
2 fires x 2 rotors x 654cc = 2616cc...now do you understand how its a 2.6 L? I dont see the Piston engine cheating and firing on the bottom side of the piston for a 5.2L RB52DETT... Why was that concept hard to grasp...that Rotary engine in those vids seem like it has a crazy "Cam" in there making it idle like a bad ass. |

well yeah but what is technically listed for the 13B motors is 1.3L and the 20B is 2.0L

2.6 2 Stroke - Convince Rotary Preformance otherwise and I might start listening. I maintain that the Rotarys only upshot to pistons is Packaging (which makes the RXs the awsome cars they are) and it bothers me that a less efficent engine is considered 11ty-billion times superior than a Piston on a technicality (displacement). I really have no problem with Rotarys... they're fair enough motors but its the "1.3L fuck physics" yahoos that piss me off |

Yea I agree. Considering HP is equal to the amount of air you get through the engine with proper fuel and timing. No way to get that much air through a 1.3l without some super super serious mods.
Rotaries also have a serious overheating problem don't they? Not to mention they are fuel hogs.

Re: Adding to the FD conversation a while ago with a VID!!!
yeah, i have heard many stories of overheating problems. Japvillage has blown there rotary and re-built it 3 times in less than a year. They said it was too unreliable to take on the gumball 3000. There RX7 has six 1600cc injectors. Only 4mpg and you have to keep putting 2stroke motor oil in it, what a bitch.

Re: Adding to the FD conversation a while ago with a VID!!!
gas mileage is not bad, my modded TII got 20mpg on the high and like 17 in town... my NA got about the same
over heating can be a problem but it isn't a big problem if you take care of your car... oh and just put in a new radiator or something like that and the problem is fixed... nothing extremely bad

I've heard getting a V-mount cures all overheating problems.
