Ok i know this may sound dumb but i just bought a CAI and there is a vacuum hose or something leading off the pipe...where does it go/what does it do?

how do i hook it up?

pretty much i just removed the stock air pipes and air cleaner box then put on my new CAI pipes but how do i hook it up to the valve gasket cover?

use the clamp and put it to the only tube thats not connected. the system should come with the tube and clamp.
