1996 I30t with 170k Poor low idle, stall when starting

Novice here, automotively speaking, and my first post. This board appears to be the best thing I've encountered, so here goes:

1. When starting my vehicle(in Maine-issue #1!), won't hold the start initially without manually giving it some fuel via accellerator.
2. Never has shifted great out of one and 2. Unresponsive. Seems to be empty power and definitely a delayed reaction and drops to 1000 rpm or under when foot removed from accelerator. When it descends, it may have an intermittent hesitation.
3. Now seems to vibrate and be a little loud as speed increases, most noticably at 65-70.

Recent maintenance includes: brand new battery, transmission oil changed and new filter. I have had a coolant sensor replaced in the last 6 mos.

Any clues at all? I appreciate in advance any help. Take care.

Basic maintenance: plugs, air/fuel filters first, for ALL connectors:
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/14

Throttle Pos sensor (100$) replacement or cleanup. (=if cold engine plus tranny problems)
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/6

Injectors might be problem (1000$)? All Sensors testing may be done after plug swap, connectors cleanup: KS, MAF, O2 and cam pos sensors.

It has similar sensors as maxima, in different places, check:
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/1
See for manual at bottom of page 1.

3a. Exhaust leak?. 3b. Tire pressure, wear, adj, thread broken, smtg loose, balljoints bad etc. Go for a checkup.

Btw. Dont let anybody fool you with MAF (expen$ive) or other spares, most can be tested. Tell them I'll check that later - I will, dunno when... If stealer$hip/anybody changes that, demand any old spares with you, some instant experts need 'em for emselves... then you throw away.
