CA Smog Standards...EEEK!!
OK.....first a little background, i had a 93 LS w/an auto tranny and was T-boned at an intersection in feb of 04. rear-end body damage that I didn't feel like spending my new-found money to fix....so instead I found a 92 GS body and decided to do an auto to manual swap on the motor. Lived in WA state then and moved to CA.....here comes the kicker. I went through JC Whitney and bought what I'm pretty sure I remember being a DC Sport 4-2-1 SS one-peice header...well DC puts the C.A.R.B. EO # on the header from what I hear and I failed smog in CA for that one reason alone when trying to register her here. I found the numbers I needed but I was wondering if anyone knew how I could go about obtaining the actual plate/sticker to put on my header so I can just register and be done with it.....plus I don't know if me playing with my timing and idle speed screwed me over since I was borderline fail emissions. Any help is much appreciated!! and keep in mind I'd go to DC but I have no proof of purchase anymore, lost over the year and the move......and that blows.....But thanks!!

Re: CA Smog Standards...EEEK!!
if there is no proof, just buy a new one or used one off ebay, just to pass emissions, then put the SS dc back on, better yet buy a stock manifold and keep that on to pass emissions.
