'84 Prelude Project

Ive recently purchased a 1984 Honda Prelude, with an amazing low mileage of only 162,000 miles...which is pretty damn good for its year, but thats besides the point.
Ive been doing a lot of research lately, and Ive decided that I want to swap my older Prelude engine, with some sort of Honda vtec, and thats where I need the help.
I want to know what year, and what model of Honda engine I should drop in, be it Civic, Prelude, Accord, or whatever.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

search the civic forums, theres a lot of threads on this. I had the same question because i just baught an older prelude from a friend and found lots of info there.
