Question '84 b2000 accelerator long rod length...

I need to know the length between locknut to locknut on the long rod that is part of the mechanical accelerator linckage. I know for a fact that this is the reason the truck is having acceleration problems. Could anybody find the (stock) length or know where I can find the information? Thank you.

No particular length. But has to be a little loose enough not to pull the throttle shaft and affect the idle speed.

Your carb might be out of adjustment or accelerator pump seal is torn.
Tell us the last thing done on the truck that could have affected driveability.
