97 Z24 daytimes are staying on when engine shut off and key out. Applied E-brake and they still won't turn off! DRL is flashing inside. Also noticed : Daytimes light up fine but when I switch on headlights right side comes on good but drl stays lit. Left side bulbs light up, both very dim. Same thing with hi beams. Anyone?

There was a post about disabling the DRL. Just find that post and disable them, you don't need them...

Hmmm, I'm wondering if the DRL relay is bad...

Re: DRL stay on when car off!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the tips but aren't DRL mandatory up here in Canada? Since this post I've tested all 5 relays behind the bumper and they're all O.K. Now drl don't work at all !!!!!!! When I turn on heads, only right comes on and right hi, left hi, left low, light very, very dim. If I flick on hi beams, similar happens. Right lights up o.k. but right low, left low, left high, light very very dim. I'm pulling out my hair with this one! Anyone heard of such!
