ACT II- Oh The Possibilites

Opening: We begin as Chad is waking up from last night. He wakes up and looks at his clock. It's around 10:30am.

Chad: "Ahh man. I haven't slept that good in....um...well, ever."

Narrator: He gets up a goes off to the bathroom were he takes a shower and puts on some new clothes. He heads outside and grabs the sunday paper. He sits down at his kitchen table and begins to read when the phone rings. He gets up and anwsers it.

Chad: "Hello?"

Josh: "Hey Chad, its me."

Chad: "Oh, hey Josh."

Narrator: 18 year old Josh Arser and Chad have been friends since the 4th grade. He lives with his parents so he's able to own a Euro Red 1998 Honda Civic Hatchback. It's has 18" rims, is lowered 2", and has a 3" cat-back exhaust but other than that it's completly stock. He knows a little about cars and hangs with Chad when he isn't working.

Josh: "Man, I here that Winston put you on another 12-hour shift last night."

Chad: "Yeah, well, you know."

Josh: "What an ass."

Chad: "Hey, maybe if you worked there, I wouldn't be working so long, dipshit."

Josh: "I'll pass on that. So, anything interesting happen to you lately?"

Chad: "Oh yea. Theres something I gotta show you. Get over here."

Josh: "Why? What is it?"

Chad: "Just come over."

Josh: "Alright, alright."

Narrator: Josh hurries over wondering what's the big deal. He pulls up to Chads house and runs up to the door.

Chad: "About time you got over here."

Josh: "Ok, so whats is it?"

Narrator: Chad holds out a wad of cash. Josh looks at it and is confused.

Josh: "A wad of cash? Big fucking deal."

Chad: "I won it in a street race."

Josh: "YOU WHAT?!?!?"

Narrator: Chad brings Josh inside and explains what happened. Josh is in awe.

Josh: "I can't belive you."

Chad: "Look, its not like anyone got hurt."

Josh: "No I mean I can't belive you won something. Some people have good luck, some have bad luck, and you man, have no fucking luck at all."

Narrator: Chad punches him in the arm.

Chad: "Yea, very fucking funny. The thing is, I've never experienced anything like it. I'm thinking of going out and street racing."

Josh: "Whoa buddy, so you won 1 race. It doesn't mean your Mario Andretti. It just means you were lucky, for once."

Chad: "Yea, but what a rush. Plus if I had more money I could do more stuff with you guys."

Narrator: A silence falls over the room.

Josh: "Ok then. So what's the plan?"

Chad: "Come with me."

Narrator: Chad and Josh head outside and hop in his car.

Chad: "First we need to see whats my car is made of."

Josh: "How?"

Chad: "Max."

Josh: "Oh fuck. I still owe him $20."

END

I'd guess the other thread was locked as this is the PHILOSOPHIZING forum, and Moppie said as much, and even suggested where you should post it - Completely Off Topic.
