1995 JGC Lights won't shut off.

My 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited parking lights will not shut off. It has the auto headlamp system. The lights stay on no matter what possition the switch is in. I have tested the switch, it is fine. I have removed battery cable ln hope to reset system. The problem is intermittent, and I can't seem to find the cause. When I try to diagnose, they happen to shut off, but it doesn't seem to be from anything I have done. HELP. Thanks.

See my two other posts under my name 'taubin'. Your little purple computer box has gone south it sounds like. This is one of the things it controls as well as automatic locks, chimes, and who knows what else.

if you cannot find my post or can't understand just private message me, I not a mechanic but I am an expert at buying crap cars 8-(

Sounds like a bad relay.

If it not your switch check the relay if ok most probally the Body Control Module. Very hard to check with out a good Scan tool.
