Unhappy 94 tracker four wheel drive will not engage

4x4 light will come on and the hubs are locked and the engine even kicks in but the wheels in front will not spin. Need help to be pointed in the right direction. Snow storm coming tomorrow!!!!

Mine did the same thing, my mechanic said that the inside of the
hubs were dirty and needed to be cleaned. Did you ever get it
fixed?

Thanks for the input. I will check this out. I have been using my wife's car when we get snow for now.

Did you ever figure out what the problem is? I just purchased a 94 tracker and mine is doing the exact same thing. I will check into the hubs being dirty, but I was wondering if that turned out to be the problem with yours also, or if it was something else. Thanks!!

No, we still haven't brought it in to the mechanic, and it has been too cold outside to work on it. The exaust just let go so it will be going in soon.
