Hey again......I have been looking to get some different lights...again on my TB.
Just curious if anyone has tried different 194 Wedge bulbs? These are the ones that can go in the: license plate, dome light & front corner turn signal. I am just looking for something brighter/whiter. Also bulb 3157 for: parking, turn signal, brake & back-up lights. Again....just looking for something better & brighter. Still curious as to how the Sylvania fog lamp bulbs are...if they are worth the $$$$$ or not. I am looking for really bright white lights like what you get on a BMW or a Benz. Do the Sylvania Fog Lamp bulbs produce that kind of light? Any other ideas on what to use would be appreciated

O.K, I have come across these bulbs for the fog lamps:
PlasmaGlow 50W fog lamp bulbs. They carry a 10 year replacement gurantee! For the price of $39.95. I am going to inquire about them to see what I can find out....but I really hate the output of the weak fog lamps I have........the new bulbs say that there is no modification required......but if my vehicle burns down because of it....I'll just have to laugh :-D O.K edited to add some ifo that I have found on the extra wattage bulbs: "Update: I experienced a growing 'dimple' on the front/center of each plastic lens (yes, they are plastic)- apparently from the increased heat using a 50W bulb instead of the 35W that come with the car. I have since gotten new, original lamps and left the lower wattage bulbs in them. Some aftermarket lamp assemblies do allow 50W, but it's too much heat for the OEM fog lamps" This was from a guy who tried using 50W fog lamp bulbs instead of the regular 37.5W bulbs on his Mustang. So maybe I shouldn't try this out.Don't need anymore headaches than I already have.......

Re: Has anyone tried any other bulbs for their TB? HELP
I just bought the Sylvania Silverstars for my low beams and foglights. The fogs match pretty damm close to the headlights, usually foglights look all yellowish but the Silverstars are fricken sweet. They light up the road far better than normal halogens.
