Anyone heard anything about the 2006 TrailBlazer SS?

Just curious if anyone has heard anything about this brute coming out....

Supposedly what I have heard/read is that it will have the 6.0L V8 & it should have around the 400 drooooooooooooollllll HP mark

The front end looks similar to the current Siverado SS & the current TrailBlazer. As far as I know, it will be either a 2 wheel drive or an all wheel drive....more than likely in the shortened version.

After looking at the spy photos:

--hope they don't mind me posting this link--

I hope they do something different with the rear end....kinda looks like it is dragon the wagon outback.
Wish they would have done a little more to differentiate it from looking like the others besides the front & rear....still nice though!

New information on the SS according to the Chicago Tribune:

"The TrailBlazer SS that goes on sale this fall will be the first SUV to wear this badge.
It will be powered by the Corvette derived 6 liter with 391HP & 395 pounds of torque. 0-60 times are expected to be in 5.7 seconds. Transmission will be the usual (what are you thinking Chevy?!!) 4 speed auto. Chevy you need a 5 speed auto already!

The TrailBlazer SS will offer performance tuned suspension with a 1 inch lower ride height. 20" wheels w/ performance tires, rear or all wheel drive w/ stability control, ABS & air leveling suspension.
It will come with the monocromatic exterior, including blacked out mesh grill, model specific ront & rear fascias & birght exhaust outlet.

Well, that's it for now.
