Re: loss of spark while driving

Is it sparking at the plugs? How is the coil wire? Maybe there is a loss of timing rather than a loss of spark if those things seem to be working. It might be good to check all ground wires around the ignition module. Possibly there is a crank position sensor to check. If it has a distributor, there may be a bad coil pick up sensor in the distributr, or if distirbutorless, a bad throttle positon sensor?

I checked the wiring, all seems ok.I have received no indication(code) that the pickup coil is bad, would hate to buy one just to find out that wasn't the problem.Control module is good, coil is good just no power going to the coil.

Update: I replaced distributor(including pickup coil and ICM) car ran great for about two blocks, then developed same problem, loss of spark.
