Factory CD Changer

if anyone is looking for a newer factory CD changer for a 96 A4, you can stop looking...if you are interested in this please reply to this thread and we can talk details...basically it is a unit that is already to be plugged into your car and its ready to be controled through the stock stereo...if you wanted to buy one of these new it would cost you around $650 with shipping and everything...but like i said let me know if youre interested

Re: Factory CD Changer

Hey Mike, Do you still have that changer for sale?, if so, will it be compatible with my 97 2.8 A4 and i have the stock radio unit. How much are you planning to charge?

I am wondering if it is worth getting a CD changer or just buying a aftermarket head unit for my Audi.
Why are you getting rid of this one? And for how much?

sorry...its no longer for sale...i was selling it because i got an iPod and didnt need it anymore...but to answer your question it was worth it to me because if you get an aftermarket charger then you have to get spacers for the sides becasue the radio slot in it is wider than the average head unit...so it would look pretty tacky with the wood and leather interior...plus the whole lighting scheme is the car is entirely red...and again i didnt want it to look tacky...call me picky but it was worth it to me

Re: Factory CD Changer

keep onto that cd changer cause its the only one compatable to the stock head unit.

mine burnout like two years ago and there was no replacement for, audi stopped making it what so ever , and stock head unit cant adapt any other aftermaket disc changers

so hold onto that for a while unless u want to rewire a whole new system.
