anybody else seen this, it is mostly about the jgtc race, but it also had a little bit of drifting, and i was just wondering if anybody else saw it.

I caught a bit of it. Alan De Cadenet did a great job commentating and I really wish Speed would pick up D1 for the off season when they air DTM and BTCC.

i thought they did a pretty good job with it. granted...there was only like 7 and a half minutes of drifting :/

but the race coverage was pretty good...not a bad effort from SPEED....now they have something to rerun between nascar marathons.

i dont know i've been looking to see when its on next, if it will be so i can record it this time, but i think if a lot of people saw the drifting, they might realize the popularity and actually get the d1gp aired

I saw it would have been better if they didn't jump around so much...jgtc race, then the drifting, then more jgtc, then show cars... kinda bugged. but other than that loved it.

You forgot to mention the one thing they showed the most. The girls don't get me wrong i love my g/f but that guy was annoying and seemed like the show was based around the girls more then the action. I agree on the jumping part also the announcer i didn't think fit the JGTC. Hey atleast speed fix the rally commintator back to the colin mcrae's old co driver. With the junction between the JGTC and the FIA i'd suspect to see more of it. As for drifting with the ever growing popularity i'd say most defintly they'd pick it up. I'm hoping the East and the West though. Show like the East D1 one week the next the West.
