'94 Crown Vic rear level control ???
Hey all ! New to the Forum, got a question for ya.
I recently replaced the air compressor, both air springs (Bags), and both solenoids on the rear suspension. I had a problem about a year ago with the pass side riding 3" lower than the left side and also the system leaking down overnight, this was the reason I replaced the air ride parts that I did. I solved my leakdown issue by replacing a wore out ignition key tumbler assembly, I guess it was leaving the system on or shorting it out making the solenoids open. I still have the issue with the pass side riding 2"-3" lower than the driver side, it will pump up at the same rate and go down at the same rate, but just out of level. I am assuming there is a side to side level control sensor on this thing somewhere and possibly a way to diagnos it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jason |

IIRC there is a sensor on each bag that determines the amount of air to be put in. I dont remember where the part is located, but that would be the place to look. The ride height is factory set and each side has its own sensor. Its possible if the sensor is external that road debris could have knocked it out of wack.
