Ticking when A/C Is on?

Hello all,

1995 Aurora
149,000 miles

I have a ticking noise when my A/C is on. When it's just the fan there is no ticking. The ticking noise has been getting louder and louder in the last few weeks. It's like a drumbeat. The A/C cools fine and had never had any problems with it. Is my compressor about to go? Maybe a re-charge? Anyone have this problem before?

How does your serpentine belt look, any nicks or cuts.
If that is good then it sounds like your pulley and or AC clutch is needing to be checked out.

Belt is ok. Where can I find the clutch and is it workable or mechanic time?

I would go to a good AC shop and have it checked out.
