Unhappy ticking from dash

Hi everyone! I purchased a 96 at an auction and aside from having to replace my rad which was leaking at the common location and almost getting crushed from the power seat when programming new remotes I have an annoying concern.
There is a fast ticking sound coming from behind the instrument cluster at 2000 to 2500 rpm. Any suggestions for me to diagnose would be appreciated!!

There seems to be no drivability issues with the car. The ticking is just an annoyance. It does not matter what gear the car is in but occurs at 2000 to 2500 rpm while under load. It also ddoesn't appear to be under the hood, just sounds to be under the dash.
