Hum while turning to the right
I have a rear end question, I am starting to get a humming sound coming from the rear whenever I make a right turn at a corner. It sounds like the hum break system have on buses or 18 wheelers, but I turn without putting my foot on the break, is anything wearing out here that needs to be replaced?? I donŽt have a limited slip diff, I have the stock traditional diff. Thanks for the help everybody.

Re: Hum while turning to the right
kinda sounds like a wheel bearing.

Re: Hum while turning to the right
You may be right, IŽll check them out next monday, I bought the truck used and it now has 70,000 km, the rear leaf springs are kinda low so it may have been used to tow or carry heavy loads. thanks!

Re: Hum while turning to the right
I think it may be a spider gear starting to go on you . If it was a wheel bearing it would make the noise all the time not just when turning. Noises from the rear diff while turning usually means a spider gear.
