Vacuum operated exhaust?

Well I know that they had a rare option on a GTO that was a vacuum operated exhaust but does anyone make one now for installing on your car? Also, are there any other names for these kits because I know that I saw something of the sort in a summit catalog but I can't seem to find it again.

I've seen solenoid activated ones. I think they are called "cut outs". Mr. Gasket has a cable operated one, also try these links below:

This should get you started...

Re: Vacuum operated exhaust?

It does the same thing, but they are not the same thing the GTO came with. If you can find it, the GTO ones were part of the muffler system. The vaccume opened cut outs in the muffler itself.
These are just cut outs that can will dump the exhaust before the mufflers.
