I'm 6'3" & just curious if something can be done for the seat to go back futher for more leg room. It's a bench seat. tks

It is not safe to do, but we have repositioned sears by drilling more holes and shimming the rear mounts with washers.(We have a Police cage directly behind the seat, so there was more support)

What about the possibility of using seats, say in a 98, thats if it has the leg room? tks

If the mounting holes are the same, no problem. If not, same problem exists.

Seats for the CV should be the same from 92 to 2004. Maybe a pair of CVPI buckets might give you more room, most cops are 6ft.

Most Police cars have nothing there, thats where they mount the 2-way radios and light controls, to be out of the Air Bag inflation zone. There are aftermarket consoles you can put in, or even some factory made ones can be had at the local junk yard. BTW you will probable have to drill the 2 center holes for each bucket seat. There may even be dimples in the floor pan for the locations.
As far as cost for new , no idea. Local junk yard, should be no more than $100.00 for a good clean set of 6-way power seats. Most are going to be cloth or vinyl or a mix of cloth and vinyl.
