Exclamation I Need Help Here!!! Does Anyone Know This!!!

I have a 2000 civic 4 door with manual mirrors!!
i want to change the manual mirrors to power mirrors!!


I HAVE THE SWITCH NEEDED TO TURN THE MIRRORS BUT

ARE ALL THE WIRES NEEDED TO HOOK UP ELECTRIC MIRRORS ALREADY IN PLACE???( IN THE DOORS, AND BEHIND THE DASH)?? OR WILL I HAVE TO PASS ALL THE WIRES MYSELF???

you will need to get auto mirrors...and you will have to do all the wires yourself

Some manufactures have just one wire harness for all trim levels of a particular model. So your car may have the neccessary wires already in place. Just a thought. GL

OK but i want to know from someone with experience of taking off the door trims and acutally seeing if there are the wires there in place??

but yeah i've heard that most cars have one wire harness!!

i just want to know if the civic 00 has that one wire harnesss and if it is in my door before i go ripping apart everything!!!

and i will get the power mirrors !!

have you though about getting the jdm mirrors. the ones that retract or fold as you might say. there bad ass. i know that doesnt aswer your question but when you get mirrirs i would get thoses.

I had my door panels off a couple of weeks ago, and I don't remember seeing any part of a wiring harness going to the mirrors.... unless the plugs are right where the wiring harness comes into the door, inside the door skin itself where I wouldn't have seen them, I don't think they're there.

I have a 97 DX hatchback though. Your car may be different... it takes all of 15 minutes to take the door panels off and put them back on, so just pull it off and check yourself.
