Finishing putting together 1968 302 motor, does it require a plate
I'm finishing putting together a 1968 302 V8 that was rebuilt several years ago, it's going into a 1965 Mustang, I think it's supposed to have a metal plate that goes between the motor and the automatic transmission but it's not there, can anyone tell me if there is just one thickness if it requires one that goes between them.
Thanks Berry0083 |

I'm not sure if they ever had varying thicknesses, but you do need it.
