'87 H.O. Motor swap
Okay, here's what's going on. There's a totaled 87 mustang 5.0 H.O GT that I'm looking at. The guy has to turn the motor from it in for core he claims, and will give me a motor out of a 90 GT (I can hear this on run too). 90's had a MAF sensor and a different camshaft (maybe others?) than the '87 motor. Would it just be a matter of swapping throttle bodies for the MAF sensor? (or could i wire it up to the computer, I'd prefer the MAF over air density sensor, or do i need a new harness/computer to do that?) Will the different cam cause the computer to act up?
Thanks!
