Am i putting to much weight in my trunk?

Hi
i resontly added a sound system with subs to my car.
my subwoffers with the sub box weigh about 150 or so pounds... probably a bit less... but the rear of my car lowered about 2-3 inches.... leaving about 1.5 inches between the tier and the outside of the rear fenders....
now my question is how bad is it for the suspentions when they are constatly compressed that much...
if bad could you please recomand some suspentions for the rear for me
