Heater Problem 1995 Park Avenue Ultra

I have read through this forum and it seems this is a common problem. My heat blows lukewarm on the drivers side and totally cold on the passenger side. I have also seen a couple of post where this seems to happen after some sort of battery problem.

My heat was working fine until one morning I went to start my 1995 park avenue ultra. It was completly dead, no power, lno ights, no chimes, nothing. As it turned out, that problem was pretty simple, corrosion on the positive battery terminal. I cleaned it and it started up no problem. BUT now the outside temp reading blinks on the climate control for a few minutes whenever the car is started and no heat on the passenger side. After seeing other post of this type I find it hard to beleive that the lost of battery power does not have anything to do with this problem.

So guys what is the problem and how do I fix it?

I've never had that problem, but I know disconnecting battery cable for couple of minutes and letting computer reset fixes lots of problems. I would try that first!
