corolla lower starter bolt replacement

I have a Pirzm with the 1.8L DOHC engine. The starter is located on the front[radiator] side of the engine. I was able to get the starter out, but in the process, stripped the 14mm lower bolt which fastens the starter to the transmission [enough where it needs to be replaced with a new bolt].

Can these bolts be bought at any autoparts store, or do I have to go to a GM or Toyota dealer?

Thanks in advance,

John

Re: corolla lower starter bolt replacement

usually you can take the bolt to your local hardware store and they will help you find a bolt similar in length, and exact same thread and head sizes.
