To Canadian/US modelers

I found a new mail-order company based out of Vancouver. He has fairly good prices and if you order now it is free shipping in the US and Canada untill March 9th. He will also give $10.00 off if you order over $100.00. I bought the Studio 27 Viper GTS/R and the Tamiya Lotus 25, delivered to my door for $140.00 US. I can't even find the Viper anywhere except in the US and they all want $140.00 US plus shipping and customs and GST on top. So I gave the guy a chance, my stuff was ordered last Wednesday and showed up at my door today. Gotta love that.

Fastphil address is www.modelcraftersgp.com

TireGaint shipping is free until March 9th.

The owners name is Vincent and is a real pleasure to deal with. Very prompt with emails and phone calls if need be.

Oh I don't know. The Carrera GT is $31.95 US which converts to $39.00 Canadian at modelcraftersgp where the Carrera GT is $54.00 Canadian at modelexpress, plus shipping. Modelexpress is a very good store with excellent prices but sometimes you have to shop around. Even if you where order the CGT after the free shipping promotion ends the price still end up cheaper. But that's just the way I see it.

this is the exception

I looked "normal" kit that sell normally at 25-32 at model express. (they are near the same price or a bit more)

anyway, I bookmark them, we don't have many good model store in Canada and they have thing that are hard to find.

Hi Shift_drift & Tea,

I noticed on their shipping page, that they provide pickup or dropoff if you're in Vancouver. You guys have it lucky. As soon as the free shipping ends in US, I guess it might be more expensive all of a sudden.

Anyway, its best to check out their pickup delivery service for yourself, I could be making a mistake by misreading between the lines.

I gotta go and hand in rent to my landlord now. Its a week late and i've been lucky so far.

Don't cut yourself on a kit. Later,
Yi-Wei...
