Post Ames Performance

I am thinking your brother is talking about Ames Performance.

Customer Service at 1-800-421-2637
Download their GTO Catalog (pdf format)
Cost for Engine Wiring Harness:
V/8 w/o AC, w/o RA/HO 1 0 3 . 0 0 / e a .
V/8 w/AC, w/o RA/HO 1 1 3 . 0 0 / e a .
V/8 w/AC & RA or HO 1 1 3 . 0 0 / e a .
V/8 w/o AC, w/RA or HO 1 0 2 . 0 0 / e a .

There are some other companies that supply GTO parts for reasonable prices:

Performance Years
PY GTO Catalog

6 Cyl $99.00
6 Cyl, w/ AC $110.00
V/8 $99.00
V/8, w/ AC $110.00
V/8, w/ AC & RA $110.00
V/8, w/ RA $99.00

Another great company, especially if you live in Southern California (they are based out of Huntington Beach, CA) is Original Parts Group, Inc.
Phone Number: (800) 243-8355

Their prices for the wiring harness are for the "Painless 12-Circuit Wiring Harnesses" which cost's $349.95 and can be viewed here

Hope these are helpful for you

Re: 68 Gto Needs Help!!

Ames Performance and Performance Years are the two best suppliers of Pontiac-specific parts. You won't get a Chevelle harness from them! (you might from OPGI or Year-1, as they are primarily Chevy suppliers).
We have installed several from Ames, and they are exactly right every time, even when the car is a "Ram Air" car.

You should checkout this place and site.

http://www.nitemareperformance.150m.com/page1.htm

It's in CT and they do great work.... even if you don't use them you should check out their site. They have all sorts of free stuff like printable 2005 GTO/bikini calendars/wallpapers and 1/4 mile calculators..... shots of GTOs shredding their tires at the drag track.... if you are into GTOs you'll like this site.
