My 92 S-10 4 x 4 with 4.3 W engine & atuto trans has 3:42 ratio gears.
Don't know which gears are standard. Jerry |

I have a '91 S10 4WD with 4.3. My gearing is 3.42 and I think the horsepower on the TBI engine is 160 but don't quote me on that. I think the 3.42 gearing is standard with the 235/70/R15 tires.

![]() Look in the glove box (or whereover your RPO codes are), it should tell you what gears it had from the factory.

The W engine is the Votec fuel injected engine, what is the horse power on it.
Nothing in my Manuel gives horse power. My 92 Blazer S-10- 4 X 4 came with P235/15R Goodyear tires when new. But mine came with the light duty trailer package. The ride is a bit stiff, GVWR is rated at 4,000 to 5,000 thousand pounds. The heaviest thing I have ever had on a trailer behind it is my 3000 Ford tractor, it pulled it with no problem at all.
