97 Voyager headlamp and parking lamps stay on even when disconnect from switch
I recently got into a wreck and my vehicle became completely submerge under water. I have dried it out and everything works including the radio. My trouble is that the headlights and the parking lights want to stay on. I have removed the headlight and parking relay (and replaced them) and they stop working and when I put it back they turn back on. I then removed the dash panel and disconnected it from the headlight switch and it still stayed on. This is all with the key off. My brights only come on when I flip them on with the bright light switch, but they do not work unless I flip the bright light switch. I have tried cleaning the connections in the power distribution box and at the switch. What are some reasons this could still be causing this to happen.

Re: 97 Voyager headlamp and parking lamps stay on even when disconnect from switch
Quote:
You need to be more specific on the following: 1. You say: "I have removed the relay......" .... Parking light relay.....what? 2. You say: "I then removed the dash panel and disconnected it from the switch" ....What did you disconnect, and from what switch? Ignition, Light switch? 3. You say: "My brights only come on when I flip them on,"....Are you talking about the headlight flasher on the stalk? 4. You say: "but they do not work unless I make them work."... Again, are you talking about the headlight flasher on the stalk? How do you make them work?
