O2 sensor

I just replaced the rear O2 sensor on my 2002 Montana and was wondering if anyone new where the front O2 sensor was, and the best way to get at and replace it.

Re: O2 sensor

I replaced the front sensor on my '98 Venture, and I assume your's in the same place. It's tough to get to. I had to roll the engine forward to gain access, and use a special socket (autozone) desiged to remove oxygen sensors. It's a blind adventure, but doable in a few hours.

I just had both sensors replaced in my 2000 Montana and it took the guy about 20 minutes to replace both of them. He did say that he had to get a special tool to replace one of them.
