nissan quest rattles

I recently purchased an '04 nissan quest and can't seem to get rid of the rattles. dealer says it's a design flaw with the third seat latch; also seems like there is a rattle inside the passenger door. anybody have similar problems or solutions to this annoying problem? thanks!

Mine has a rattle in the rear driver side door but has recently been superseded by a much louder rattle on the ceiling console (lights, dvd screen, etc). Fortunately I was able to to identify that it is actually coming off unscrewed and will hopefully be solved the next time I bring it to the dealer. It seems that warranty problems seem to crop up before the parts arrive for the previous problem, though.

I had originally had very annoying rattles and squeeks in my sliding doors and the DVD/ceiling unit. apprently they were known problems and Nissan sent me a notice saying that the problems were identified and the fixes will be applied by the dealer at bo charge. We brought it in and took care of all the existing problems (though there is a new one now).

Make sure you have all manufacturer updates.

i have the same problem with my 04 quest. i took it to the dealer, they said they fixed it, but it started to rattle again after a week or so.

The dealer should be able to fix this problem. They are being fixed because they are aware of it. If not I suggest you find another dealer.
