Striped bolt! HELP?
I've got a bolt who's head is now stripping. It backed out very hard, one of those bolts that goes through a casting. Damn dissimilar metals, I'm guessing.
Are there any tricks? WD-40? Liquid Wrench? applying tape to the bolt head? It's about half-way removed and I dont have much removal room, and I dont think I can get enough torque, or have enough room for Vice Grips |

What the heck are they thinking using dissimilar metals?
I'm going to try a solvent called PB BLASTER. They say it's amazing. |
