yep. talk about a b.s. product! i have one in my 97 cord lx. it already had the bolt on's: c.a.i., dc header, exhaust, random tech. high flow cat,
aem pulleys and cam gear. i put the 400 module in in about 15 minutes. pretty easy install job. the ads all said 25% h.p. increase btwn 1000-5000 rpms. i think i just weighted the car down a tad more. yes, i reset the ecu and the timing is advanced a bit already. no noticble h.p. or torque increase. my a/f gauge isn't picking up any lean or overly rich condition either, so i guess that's good. contacted the tech dept @ venom and talked to a rep there for awhile. told me that w/ the mods i have, my gains would be very small. huh, i b stoopid. i guess i should have done that first, but live and learn. anyways i guess the timing change was all the venom module would really do. your ecu will pump more or less fuel depending on how you adjust timing anyways one you reset it, so.......get a cam gear, adjust it, and you'll save about 160 bucks and wont have a lump in your carpet!
