My next car...

I have already decided what my next car will be (I have only had my 99 gt for a couple of months)....

A 2006(maybe 7) SVT cobra...
I personally love, and yes I mean love the new GT. The styling is out of this world retro, featuring new age elements. Performance? Someone just posted info on one that is in vette range with bolt ons and tuning.
The 2003+ SVT cobra is an amazing car. It is incredible what those things do with smaller pullies and light bolt ons. LS1s fear the snake.

With information leaking out about the new SVT, I am pulled to it more and more. Right now I have a picture of a "SVT cobra" that is probally just a Photochop as my wallpaper. It's styline seems to take the best of the GT's looks, and definitly give it more of a "Dont waist my gas trying to race me" look. It's performance numbers, although varying from source to source are all very impressive. And with my current theory that the GT is underrated HP, I believe that the cobra most likely will be too.

I am 17 now (so this might be a pipe dream), but I dont plan on getting it until I am out of college (and buying a lightly used one). I will be in college for 8 years and 2 years residence (I am becoming a Plastic surgeon), so I figure once outta college, and into my first job, I can afford payments. This car is seriously toping my American-craving list even over a new vette z06 (Not only because im a Ford guy, but because I dont think the new c6 body is that different over the c5, slimmer but thats it). It doesnt scream to me. I even put this over an m3 (which I love bimmers, but since I got my stang I am proud to drive American.)

So ladies and gentlemen, (if my GT holds out for the next 10 years *lol*), Hopefully I will be sharing stories of my new cobra. I know this was one big rant, but I love the car, and im really bored b4 work. Shit, I should do a commercial.

1. by the time you're out of college a newer and better SVT will be out making the new 07 look like a...LS-1

2. if you're becoming a plastic surgeon don't worry about it, you'll be making enough money to buy 3 or 4 one weekend because you were bored

Yeah this really was a rant of mine. I do plan to get a higher end luxury/fast car for Daily Driving, but my roots will stick with me, and I think my street/strip car with still have a ford branding. Ill just give it a bump with the additional "SVT"
