Re: Lanzar Amps
Hey Man...
Lanzars old stuff was THE BOMB!!! However, Lanzar is now owned by Pyramid Audio and they suck. They may be loud, but it will sound like garbage and will burn out really quickly. This is comming from experiences that my friends have had after they went against what I said. BUT...The Lanzar Opti has had some pretty decent reviews. I personally would not spend the money on Lanzar, I would rather get something that sounded good and would last a long time. As well, when you get something that is great quality...90% of the time the amps are under-rated and you get more power anyway. Soooo... I would say don't buy and and maybe spend a little more money on something that is going to sound way better, last longer and still impress.

Re: Lanzar Amps
Yeah, the original Lanzars were awsome. I had one that I loved but these newer ones, I doubt they can actually do what they say. Also, I noticed that it calls for 4, 40amp fuses. Is this thing suppose to be a 4 channel? If so, you don't want it for subs.
Directed Audio's 750d is 10x's the amp than what you are looking at for less the money.

As well, you can use a 4 channel for subs, if it is bridgeable. Even if it can only go down to 2 channels, you can run one sub per channel and it will be fine.

Also, unless you have one powerhouse of a 4 channel amp and you are running something like 3 or more pairs of subs, you don't want to use a 4 channel amp. Reason is they are usually very unstable at low Ohm ratings. You never see an SPL car running 4 channels (even if bridged to 2) on a pair of subs.

Re: Lanzar Amps
Or it can be a horribly overrated amp, like most Sony Amplifiers. The difference between four 20A fuses and two 40A fuses is nothing as far as I know, I am not sure understanding as to why it would be different.
