Hefty Price Tag!!

Hey all -

I need to replace the Positive Battery Cable on my 99 Jeep Grand CHerokee Laredo 4.0 6cyl. The dealership is telling me $84 for the cable!! WOAH NELLY -- I think that is a HEFTY PRICE TAG for such a small part!! Anyone know where else I can get one for a cheaper price? Any website ect...hard to find on the internet. THANKS!!

Try autozone or NAPA.

The battery cable for my son's mustang GT is $180 and there is no aftermarket replacemnt available.

Take the current cable off, take it to an auto parts store and see if they can match it up. If not, you should be able to make one. Shouldn't cost more than 15-20 bucks.
