Need help

92 Cavalier RS v-6. Runs fine, but stalls after warm-up. Stalls in gear and in neutral.
Not sure where to start. Bad gas? Fuel filter?

Re: Need help

Could be vacuum leak, bad MAF, ignition problem or problem in your fuel system. You need to check the following. Good Luck

Re: Need help

My bad, I just looked up the 92 3.1 and they used a MAP (for speed density fuel injection) and I thought you had Mass air flow system hense MAF. Anyway a bad map sensor could be telling your car that you have more or less air than you actually have in the intake which would cause the PCM to add the incorrect amount of fuel. Which would cause your car to flood and stall or starve of fuel and stall.
