Installing intermittent wipers and cruise control
I recently got a new job that would require a lot of travel in my own 2000 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 L. I am interested in installing intermittent wipers and cruise control. I am just now seriously considering this and I'm wondering what the difficulty would be. I am wondering if either component would be prohibitively expensive (>$100)? Is there a particular brand or retailer you would prefer to purchase these components from?

Re: Installing intermittent wipers and cruise control
I think your best source for a cruise control may be your Toyota dealer. Not the best price but it should work. It retails for over $300 as I recall. With add ons from some other source you may have problems getting it to work properly. I don't have any suggestions for the intermittent wiper.

Intermittent wipers were a standard in the 2000 models. Are you sure you're driving a 2000 Tacoma?

I am positive it's a 2000, delivered in Nov of 1999.
