Angry power steering problem on 1996 jimmy

I accidently put automotive oil in the power steering . After about 3 monthes the power steering doesn't work at idle .Does anybody have any suggestions or how can I eliminate all of the oil from the power steering.

Too late, you probably toasted the power steering pump... You will probably need to replace it. You will also need to evacuate the oil from the steering box as well.

before replacing any parts try unhooking the return hose and putting a drain bucket under it then start the engine and keep adding power steering fluid untill the fluid coming out is as clean as the fluid going in. but chances are the pump and maybe the box are cooked. good luck!!
